Conterm is a trading name of the Gold Bond Group, comprised of Gold Bond .a publicly traded company, and of a fully owned subsidiary, C.D.L. Conterm Distribution Lines (“CDL”). Gold Bond holds 20.25% of the shares in Israel Shipyards . The Gold Bond Group operates a cargo terminal and free storage warehouses, and its activities are centered in Ashdod, near the Ashdod Port.
The company has three main fields of operation:
Terminal operations include terminal services, storage of full containers for import and export, including reefers, storage of empty containers, unloading import containers, containerizing export containers and cargo storage. All terminal activities are subject to customs’ supervision and the Customs Ordinance , 5731-1971.
handling cargo and unloading containers, specializing in special cargo (unusual size, weight and shape) and providing logistical services (labelling, marking goods, etc.). In addition, the Group leases storage space and warehouses to various organizations that store assorted goods and utilize related Company services.
The Company entered the transport industry in 2005, initially focusing on Group needs and utilizing Group owned trucks. In 2011, the Company expanded its transport operations, offering the service to customers nationwide.
